The challenge: positioning a construction and renovation company in the digital landscape
Ibossim is a full-service construction and renovation company with over 20 years of experience in Ibiza. Based in La Plana de Atzaro, San Carlos de Peralta, the company offers a complete range of services: full villa renovations, landscaping and garden design, solar panel installation, waterproofing, facade rehabilitation, and property maintenance.
Despite their track record and the quality of their finishes, Ibossim relied almost entirely on word of mouth and direct referrals. The construction market in Ibiza had gone digital, and villa owners — mostly international — searched for renovation companies online before reaching out. Competitors were investing in their digital presence, and the most qualified leads were going to those who appeared first on Google.
The challenge was twofold. On one hand, the existing website didn’t reflect the quality of Ibossim’s finishes and projects: it was slow, with unoptimized photos and no structure to convey professionalism. On the other hand, there was no digital positioning strategy to capture relevant searches like “full villa renovation Ibiza,” “renovation company Ibiza,” or “facade rehabilitation Ibiza.”
Our approach: professional positioning for renovations in Ibiza
Phase 1 — Branding that conveys solidity and experience
The construction sector in Ibiza demands a level of visual communication that conveys trust, experience, and attention to detail. We refined Ibossim’s identity to project Mediterranean solidity: a color palette based on stone tones, warm whites, and bronze accents that evoked the noble materials they work with. Typography and graphic elements were designed to convey the same sense of craftsmanship that defines their renovations.
Every touchpoint, from business cards to project quotes, was aligned with the new image to create a cohesive brand experience.
Phase 2 — A website that showcases projects as an impactful portfolio
The new Ibossim website was structured as a project portfolio where each renovation told a story: the villa’s initial condition, the transformation process, and the final result. Before-and-after photographs were presented in galleries that allowed visitors to appreciate every detail of the finishes.
Each service category (full renovations, landscaping, solar energy, waterproofing, facade rehabilitation, and maintenance) had its own section with detailed content that educated visitors about the processes, materials, and quality standards used.
The contact form was designed to naturally qualify leads: project type, property location, estimated timeline, and approximate budget.
Phase 3 — SEO aimed at reaching villa owners
We implemented a multilingual SEO strategy (Spanish, English, and German) focused on searches with hiring intent.
Pillar content centered on practical guides: “Complete guide to renovating a villa in Ibiza,” “How much does a full renovation cost in Ibiza,” “Permits required for renovating in the Balearic Islands,” “Best materials for Mediterranean renovations.” This content attracted qualified traffic from property owners evaluating the feasibility of their projects.
For local searches, we optimized the Google Business profile and created location-specific content for each area in Ibiza where Ibossim operates: San Carlos, Santa Eulalia, San Jose, Cala Conta, and Es Cubells.
Phase 4 — SEM segmented by service and market
Google Ads campaigns were structured by service: full renovations, landscaping, solar installations, and waterproofing. Each campaign had its own landing pages featuring standout projects and specific inquiry forms.
Geographic targeting focused on key markets: property owners residing in Germany, the UK, and Switzerland who owned villas in Ibiza, as well as local residents.
Phase 5 — Social media as a showcase for the construction process
Instagram became the primary channel, with a focus on showcasing the transformation process of each project. Reels showed renovation progress: from the initial phase through to the final finishes, including pool installations, Mediterranean gardens, and solar energy systems.
Behind-the-scenes content humanized the brand and built trust. Within 6 months, the account grew significantly with an audience composed primarily of villa owners in Ibiza.
Results after 9 months
The digital strategy positioned Ibossim as a leading online reference for renovations in Ibiza. Qualified contacts multiplied by 3.6, growing from 15 to 55 per month, with a client profile that requested larger-scale projects.
Organic traffic grew by 411%, reaching 9,200 monthly visits. Time on site tripled: users spent an average of 4 minutes and 45 seconds exploring projects and services.
The most significant metric was the increase in average contracted project value, which rose from 120,000 euros to 210,000 euros. The strategy didn’t just attract more contacts — it attracted property owners with more ambitious projects: full-scale villa renovations instead of one-off jobs. Ibossim went from relying on word of mouth to having a steady flow of qualified quote requests.
